As we continue to grow and expand our operations, we are seeking a talented SEC Reporting Analyst to join our dynamic team.

Job Description: As a SEC Reporting Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial information to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). You will collaborate closely with the finance and accounting teams to prepare and review financial statements, footnotes, and other disclosures in accordance with SEC regulations and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Your attention to detail, analytical mindset, and strong understanding of financial reporting standards will contribute to our overall compliance and transparency.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review financial statements, footnotes, and management discussion and analysis (MD&A) for SEC filings, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K
  • Ensure compliance with SEC regulations, GAAP, and other applicable accounting standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant financial information and supporting documentation
  • Perform financial analysis and research to support disclosures and ensure accuracy
  • Stay updated with new accounting pronouncements and regulatory changes affecting SEC reporting
  • Assist in the preparation of internal reports and presentations for senior management
  • Participate in the implementation of new reporting standards or system enhancements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in SEC reporting, financial reporting, or related roles
  • 2-3 years experience in public preferred (audit or just working for public on industry side)
  • Strong knowledge of SEC regulations, GAAP, and financial reporting standards
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, including the ability to interpret and summarize complex financial data
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial reporting systems
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Experience with Workiva (preferred)
