We are expanding our People/Ops team and are looking for an energetic, high integrity individual to join our team of passionate #Sunbreakers in the role of HR generalist. This position will work alongside and collaborate daily with our Leadership team and Executive Director by owning the recruiting and People Operations functions of our business.Responsibilities include (but not strictly limited to the following):Recruit, screen, and interview prospective new employees based on client support needs by region and collaborate with Executive Director/Leadership team on final hiringManage job boards and hiring channels from end-to-endConduct onboarding processes assign trainings, follow up with employees when it has not been completed and/or expirationsHandle performance reviews and any disciplinary need, in collaboration with Executive Director and Leadership teamMaintain and continuously advance HR and Operations platformsManage staff community communicationsAttend Job fairs and work on marketing plans to further access recruitment of highly qualified folks to work within the company as DSPs and beyondOwn all facets of required employee safety training courses (Workday)Conduct and/or oversee reference checks for all employeesRequired Qualifications:Prior [direct] experience with supporting the I/DD community through House Manager &/or DSP roles that involved operational dutiesMinimum two (2) years experience in Human Resources, HR Operations, Recruitment or equivalent combination of experience and education which clearly indicates the ability to perform the essential functions of the position may substitute on a year for year basisUnderstanding Oregon Administrative Rules (OARs) is necessary and requiredAbility to work a full-time schedule of 40+ hours per weekAbility to travel as needed for client/staff meetings, onboardings and trainingsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills for working with clients, families, and colleagues with clear conflict resolution skills and experience implementing themSolid understanding of human resources principles, practices, and proceduresThorough knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws, regulations and HR best practiceDemonstrated ability to handle confidential and proprietary information with a high degree of discretionHigh proficiency in organizational and documentation platforms (MS Office applications, Google Suite apps, Zoom/Calendly)Proficiency with recruitment platforms and their applications (Indeed, LinkedIn, Glassdoor, others) Primarily in-office, in-person work schedule with flexibility as needed for events and staff/client meeting needsWillingness to travel and meet clients in their home environment (when necessary)Preferred Qualification:Experience with Monday.com (operations); Gusto HR Platform; Whatsapp community managementPrior experience in startup, small business or entrepreneurial environmentsBenefits:Annual Salary, plus company health plan options and 401K matching after completing employment review period.
