Job Title: Business Intelligence Analyst

Position Overview: As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing their data-driven culture by harnessing the power of tools such as MS Power BI or Tableau. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct in-depth analysis, develop interactive dashboards, and provide valuable insights to key stakeholders. You will collaborate closely with various departments to understand business requirements, identify opportunities for optimization, and drive data-driven decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize MS Power BI (preferred) or Tableau to analyze large datasets and develop interactive dashboards that provide meaningful insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define KPIs, and identify opportunities for data-driven improvements.
  • Perform data modeling and analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and anomalies, providing valuable insights to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Create and maintain documentation to ensure data integrity, consistency, and accessibility across the organization.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses and provide actionable recommendations to address business challenges and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on data visualization best practices, helping to drive adoption and proficiency within the organization.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or related field preferred.
  • 6+ years of proven experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or similar role, with expertise in data analysis, visualization, and reporting.
  • Proficiency in MS Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools, with the ability to develop complex dashboards and data visualization.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Experience working with SQL databases and writing complex queries for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Previous experience developing data models.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to data accuracy, integrity, and quality.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote work environment.
