Sr. Electrical Engineer - Electric Vehicle Power Delta Electronics (Americas) - Livonia, MI

Essential Responsibilities: Understand OEM’s system requirements, create system requirement documentation (SRD) and component specification. Lead design analysis, including of DFMEA, WCCA and functional safety. Conduct electrical hands-on work in lab and in field. Lead RFI/RFQ technical proposal with engineering assumptions, commercial impact assessment and product demonstrations. Facilitate design review and regular meetings with customers and global design teams. Develop local product test capabilities and conduct test in a local engineering lab. Support vehicle integration and resolve quality issues. Coordinate and support production field application issue resolution.

Essential Requirements: BS, MS degree in Electrical Engineering. 6+ years of experience with design or applications engineering experience on power electronics products, preferably in automotive power module design and release experience. Good understanding of product development process. Hands-on experience with electronic power products. High voltage, high power experience preferred. Training will be provided. Good verbal and writing communication skills in English. Chinese language skill is helpful. Ability to manage multiple projects and activities. Strong team coordination skills.
