We are currently seeking a skilled Infection Preventionist Nurse to join our team and contribute to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our patients and staff.

Position: Infection Preventionist Nurse

Responsibilities:

Infection Control Oversight: Develop, implement, and evaluate infection prevention and control policies and procedures.
Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify potential infection risks.

Education and Training: Provide education and training to healthcare personnel on infection prevention practices.
Stay abreast of the latest developments in infection control and disseminate relevant information to staff.

Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect, analyze, and interpret infection data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Prepare and present reports to leadership and regulatory agencies as required.

Collaboration: Collaborate with healthcare teams to implement best practices and ensure compliance with infection prevention guidelines.
Act as a resource for staff regarding infection prevention measures.

Outbreak Management: Develop and implement strategies for managing and controlling outbreaks of infectious diseases.
Coordinate response efforts and communicate effectively with relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a current license in [State].
• Certification in Infection Prevention and Control (CIC) is highly desirable.
• Previous experience in infection prevention and control in a healthcare setting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
