Overview

Incumbents in this class are responsible for the oversight and management of instant ticket inventory utilizing a fully automated inventory control system, agent inventory quality control, Point of Sale inventory control and other general warehouse duties. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Lottery Security Department.

Examples of Work:

  • Prepares instant ticket inventory for shipment to agents, which includes package preparation which must be securely, carefully and accurately monitored and logged into the system.
  • Works with all lottery agents in conflict resolution of inventory problems.
  • Assists with warehouse preparation for receipt, unloading and storage of instant ticket inventory, marketing materials and lottery equipment.
  • Tracks and manages instant ticket inventory in a warehouse environment and in the field to assure that there is ample inventory.
  • Reviews courier bills, research irregular shipments and obtains credit from courier.
  • Performs related duties as required.

Hours are Monday through Thursday 7:45am to 4pm.

Environmental Factors

Duties are performed in an office and warehouse environment. There is regular telephone contact with lottery agents and Lottery Staff. Work assignments require operation of equipment (forklift) and vehicles. Some duties will require working outside on variable surfaces in variable weather conditions.

Minimum Qualifications

High School graduation or equivalent AND four (4) years of intermediate clerical, warehouse or public contact experience.

Special Requirements

Daily lifting of twenty-five pounds is a requirement of this position.


Candidates must pass any level of background investigation applicable to the position.
