Big Data Developer- Spark with Java

Location: Irving, TX / Tampa, FL

Duration: Full time with Benefits.

10+ years of overall IT experience with 5+ years of experience in Java and 3+ years of experience in Spark using Java/Scala.

Should have certified in Spark from Cloudera or Databricks or Hortonworks.

Should be strong in Core Java, Collections, Oops concepts, Spark.

Good understanding on Hadoop Ecosystem and Architecture. (HDFS, Map Reduce, Pig, Oozie, Yarn).

Knowledge in Kafka, Pig, MapReduce, HBase, Sqoop, Solr is a plus

Exposure in BI Tools like Tableau, MicroStrategy etc.

Experience in Hive queries and Oracle SQL queries.

Having knowledge in Python is added advantage.

Experience in Retail Banking is a plus.

Should have strong communication skills.

Should be able to lead onsite-offshore team and coordinate with multiple teams for the requirements/deliverables.
