For more information on what we are about as a company, check us out by following the link below: Job SummaryThe Commissary Lead supports the Banquet Department and provides general direction and supervision to the Commissary Runners. Service:Reviews assigned Banquet Event Orders (BEO) to prepare tables for respective services.Reviews Banquet Event Orders (BEO) and check BEO at beginning of each shift for last minute changes, special set-ups and event notes. Verifies service set ups leaving commissary match BEO specifications.Assigns runners to set up, distribute, replenish and break down services.Ensures runners are completing work assignments including check their work and report any challenges to management.Ensures proper set up, maintenance, and break down of services and work areas, inclusive of service corridors and that equipment and supplies are returned to appropriate locations.Ensures proper preparation of rooms for service, including but not limited to, linens, risers, menu tags, menus, table placement, filling risers, heat lamps and rings, and correct supplies are on hand.Ensures services are set and ready in accordance to Levy Standards and communicates challenges with managementReplenishes supplies and equipment throughout service. Ensures reset and replenishment of rooms as necessary for next scheduled service.Maintains cleanliness and organization of commissary, coffee room and storage areas, including deep pletes checks lists (Sanitation checklist, temp logs, etc) are complete throughout the shift. Controls:Employs good safety and sanitation practices in order to prevent hazards including but not limited to, slips, trips, falls and burns, and reports injuries, unsafe conditions or equipment malfunctions to management. Contacts Public Safety and management in the event of emergencies.Adheres to company guidelines, policies and property rules.Follows responsible alcohol service policies.Thoroughly completes all responsibilities and assignments including runner's responsibilities and assignments and communicate with management at end of shift.Team: Displays positive attitudeAssists others when necessary and/or requested Qualifications:Walks and stands throughout entire shift.Lifts and transports items weighing up to 65 lbs.Pushes and pulls carts, racks and product weighing up to 250 lbs.Must frequently reach, lift, stoop and bend.Reads, speaks, writes and comprehends English.Apply to Levy todayLevy is a member of Compass Group USAClick here to Learn More about the Compass Story Compass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
