*Job Overview* We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable CT & X-Ray Technologist PRN to work on Saturday & Sunday. This position offers the flexibility of as-needed scheduling, supporting our commitment to providing exceptional diagnostic services. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in diagnostic radiology, including advanced modalities. The role requires a thorough understanding of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and aseptic techniques to ensure accurate imaging and patient safety. Competitive hourly rate. Please email your resume with salary requirements. *Duties* * Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-ray, CT scans based on physician orders and patient needs. * Ensure proper positioning of patients to obtain optimal images while maintaining patient comfort and safety. * Apply aseptic techniques during procedures to prevent infections and ensure compliance with infection control protocols. * Review images for quality assurance and communicate findings appropriately to physicians for diagnostic evaluation. * Maintain detailed documentation of procedures performed and patient information in accordance with hospital policies. * Operate advanced imaging equipment with precision, adhering to radiation safety standards and protocols. * Assist in emergency situations requiring rapid imaging assessment. * Stay current with evolving medical imaging technologies and techniques through ongoing professional development. *Qualifications* * Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or equivalent licensure required. * Proven experience with diagnostic radiology, including X-ray & CT. * Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation processes essential for accurate imaging interpretation. * Strong understanding of aseptic technique and radiation safety protocols. * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of patient care. * Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are necessary for effective collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.
