A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN " IT SPECIALIST" Provide remote helpdesk support and resolve problems to the end user's satisfaction Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT helpdesk Monitor Service Desk for tickets assigned to the queue and process first-in first-out based on established priority guidelines Modify configurations, utilities, software default settings, etc. for the local workstation Utilize and maintain the helpdesk tracking software Document internal procedures Assist with onboarding of new users and removal of access for separating employees, working closely with the HR Department to ensure both processes are done in an orderly manner in line with company protocols Ensure each workstation has a computer, monitor, keyboard, mouse, hard drive, and any additional specialized equipment Install, test and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment and software Maintain inventory of all equipment, software and software licenses Report issues to IT Manager/EMR Specialist for escalation Manage PC setup and deployment for new employees using standard hardware, images and software Assign users and computers to proper groups in Active Directory Perform timely workstation hardware and software upgrades as required Interact with IT partner Epitome Networks on an as-needed basis Reporting to the office to work for special projects or on a as needed basis All other duties as assigned

Requirements: Must possess an active Virginia driver's license Minimum of Associate's degree (or 3 years relevant work experience), Bachelor's degree preferred Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Active Directory, general networking, and an ability to quickly gain familiarity with EMR systems Ability to triage IT tickets based on severity with minimal oversight Comfortable working collaboratively with key operational team members Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of the organization Ability to travel on a regular or as needed basis Midlothian - 23235
