Overview Position Title: Customer Service Specialist Reports To: Contact Center Operations Supervisor Status: Full-time, Regular position Category: Customer Service/Support Location: BW Cook of Service Experts, 12746 McKinley Hwy, Mishawaka Indiana 46545 Position Summary The Customer Service Specialist handles customer service requests, appointment booking, customer questions, complaints, and billing inquiries with the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism to resolve issues with one-call resolution. What We Offer Competitive Pay, including incentive opportunities for many positions Paid Time Off and Company Holiday Pay Medical / Dental / Vision Insurance programs 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan with company matching contributions Life Insurance, for you and options you can elect for your family Short-term and Long-term disability insurance options Supplemental programs such as legal advice, pet insurance, health advocacy World Class Training opportunities through Experts University Career Development opportunities Key Responsibilities Answer incoming calls from customers and route to appropriate person Maintain good customer relations and ensure calls meet Service Experts standards Handle and resolve customer concerns, complaints, and questions by phone, email, or chat (including billing inquiries, technician ETA, scheduling) Resolve problems by clarifying issues, researching solutions, and escalating when needed Maintain customer records by updating account information Accurately disposition calls in call monitoring software Adhere to CPI compliance regulations when taking payments over the phone Use schedule assist in Service Titan for calls booked, rescheduled, or canceled Communicate status of service calls to customers Maintain knowledge of company products, services, and promotions Collaborate with regional center POC on escalated matters Reliable attendance and on-time performance Perform similar/other duties as needed Sells and/or renews customer memberships Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent with 1 year in customer service or a customer-facing environment Experience or training using computers and related systems in an administrative office environment Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; switch between tasks efficiently Excellent customer-service, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers in a professional, customer-focused manner Ability to work well in both team and independent settings Ability to make decisions based on established guidelines Willingness to accept empowerment and make decisions regarding customer satisfaction Strong organizational and time-management skills; prioritize based on service demands Understanding of HVAC/Refrigeration industry is a plus Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning is an equal opportunity employer.
