**Job Description:**
As a Senior Project Engineer specializing in water and wastewater construction, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing projects for our client. This is primarily an office-based role with paid travel to project sites, typically only for a few days about once a month. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the successful planning, execution, and completion of their projects.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Manage and oversee water and wastewater construction projects from inception to completion.
- Develop and review project plans, specifications, and contracts.
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and team members to ensure project goals and timelines are met.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety.
- Prepare and present project reports, budgets, and schedules.
- Identify and resolve project issues and challenges.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the project team.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in water and wastewater construction.
- Strong project management skills with a proven track record of successfully completing projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Ability to travel to project sites for a few days about once a month.
