Urgent Care Staff Veterinarian Dublin The Ohio State University's College of Veterinary Medicine-Dublin announces an outstanding opportunity for a staff veterinarian in the Urgent Care service. Applicants must have a DVM or equivalent degree. It is expected that the candidate will demonstrate a commitment to excellence in patient management; service to clients and referring veterinarians; and collaboration with fellow clinicians and technicians. Candidates will be expected to work approximately 32 clinical hours per work week. The candidates will be responsible for maintaining and building a robust caseload of urgent care patients and stabilizing critical patients for transfer to specialty services. Staff veterinarians are also expected to be involved in professional and community outreach, and continuing education. Hiring Range - $87,520 - $107,200 Additional Information: Physical Requirements: Standing for long periods of time. Pushing/pulling/lifting up to 25 pounds. Pushing/pulling/lifting up to 50 pounds. Pushing/pulling/lifting up to 75 pounds. Sitting/staring at computer screens for long periods of time. Exposure to animal dander and/or zoonotic diseases. Exposure to needle sticks, hazardous chemicals, and/or bio hazardous waste. Work Schedule: 32 hours a week. Requires weekend, nights, and/or holiday hours.
