Commercial Assistant Project Manager/Estimator (DFW Area) We're Hiring: Commercial Drywall Estimator / Assistant Project Manager (DFW Area) Industry: Commercial Construction Drywall & Acoustics About the Company: Founded in 2019, Guroo Contracting is a DFW-based subcontractor specializing in wood and metal framing, drywall, insulation, doors, ceilings, FRP, exterior siding, tape and float, and paint. From pre-construction through project closeout, we take pride in delivering quality craftsmanship, reliability, and attention to detail at every stage of the build. About the Role: Are you looking to grow your career in the commercial construction industry? Were currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Drywall Estimator / Assistant Project Manager to join our team in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. In this hybrid role, youll support both the estimating and project management teams. Youll assist in preparing accurate and competitive bids, while also helping manage awarded projects from start to finish. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to expand their skill set and grow into a senior leadership position over time. Key Responsibilities Review plans, specs, and other documentation to prepare accurate take-offs and estimates Assist with bid proposals and subcontractor pricing Coordinate with vendors and suppliers Support project managers in scheduling, submittals, RFIs, and change orders Attend job site meetings and help ensure project timelines and budgets are met Maintain project documentation and communicate with clients, subcontractors, and field personnel Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in drywall estimating or project coordination (commercial focus preferred) Strong knowledge of construction documents, materials, and methods Proficiency with estimating software (On-Screen Takeoff, Quick Bid, or similar) Excellent organizational and communication skills Team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Valid (current) drivers license What We Offer Competitive compensation (based on experience) Opportunities for career advancement Quarterly Bonuses Supportive team environment If you're looking to join a growing, respected commercial contractor and take the next step in your career, we want to hear from you Additional Details Seniority level: Associate Employment type: Full-time Job function: Project Management Industries: Construction #J-18808-Ljbffr
