Project Manager-Retail Construction The Project Manager provides consulting services to our retail client account to help achieve the companys strategic business objectives. Projects consist of retail fit-outs and relocations. This job is part of the Project Management function responsible for the management of projects from initiation through completion. The role is remote but requires approximately 25% travel to client sites nationally. What you'll do: Manage all areas of project management for commercial real estate projects. This includes planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout. Interface directly with clients to prepare all project elements, including the scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimates & budget, work plan schedule & landmarks, quality control, and risk identification. Define the project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through the project qualification process. Conduct a standard request for proposals, complete bid evaluations, and recommend resources to clients. Implement project documentation governance that is aligned with company and client requirements. Ensure project data integrity and documentation is accurate, timely, and coordinated. Build action plans to meet objectives, budget, and schedule. Track the progress of each project and report status and variances. Demonstrate ability to identify project threats and develop risk mitigation and contingency plans. Implement plans to reduce or eliminate project risks. Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions. Mentor others and share knowledge of your job subject area and have broad understanding of several job fields within the function. Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE (Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence) values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement. Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams. What you'll need: Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future. Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCM designation(s) preferred. Retail commercial real estate construction project management experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Smartsheet experience is beneficial. General knowledge of leases, contracts and construction practices and the ability to read architectural drawings. Interpersonal skills with an advanced inquisitive mentality. Why CBRE? The minimum salary for this position is $100,000 annually and the maximum salary for this position is $120,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidates skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on Turner & Townsends applicable benefit program.
