We are seeking a high-energy, hands-on Nursery Manager to lead our operations and enable us to scale while becoming more efficient and managing costs. As the new manager of our nursery operations, you will bring a deep understanding of productivity, organization, processes, and best practices, particularly in working with live products such as plants. You will be a natural leader, adept at mobilizing teams to drive company initiatives and ensure exceptional customer service.
Compensation:

$85,000 yearly
Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise a team of agriculture and warehouse workers, providing guidance, training, and motivation
Develop and implement processes and SOPs to optimize productivity, inventory management, and overall quality control
Collaborate with internal departments, such as Sales & Marketing, to ensure coordination and alignment of operational activities
Oversee inventory management, production scheduling, and fulfillment to meet customer demands
Continuously improve systems and processes to enhance product flow, efficiency, and cost savings
Ensure top customer service standards are maintained and improved
Experience with new product development, feasibility, and sourcing from overseas vendors is a plus

Qualifications:

Prior supervisory, leadership, and team-building experience
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Strong training and coaching abilities
Knowledge of inventory and warehouse management
Familiarity with shipping and packaging best practices
Experience with live products, especially plants, is preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
Experience with E-commerce is a plus
Contagiously positive attitude
Strong attention to detail
Passion for plants, nature, and home dcor

Requirements:
Ability to thrive in both entrepreneurial and middle-market operation environments
Comfortable creating and establishing processes and procedures from scratch
Capable of stepping back, re-evaluating conditions, and making changes to improve efficiency and cost savings

Our company goal is to enable you (the retailer) to delight your customers with our top-quality tillandsia, delivered fast in as large a quantity and to as many locations as you may need.
