Position: Onboarding Specialist
Pay: $18/hour
Location: Mableton, GA
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Onboarding Specialist to join our staffing agency, which specializes in technical and industrial roles
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition and positive experience.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage the onboarding process for new hires in technical and industrial positions.
- Prepare and distribute onboarding materials and documents.
- Conduct orientation sessions to introduce new employees to company policies and procedures.
- Verify compliance with all regulatory and company requirements during the hiring process.
- Communicate effectively with recruits and department managers to ensure preparedness for new hire start dates.
- Manage background checks, drug testing, and other pre-employment screening processes.
- Maintain accurate records of employee documentation and onboarding progress.
- Assist with recruitment and staffing activities as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor???s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in onboarding, human resources, or a related role.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
