Job Summary:
The Partner Development Manager is responsible for the growth of New and Active partners who are in specific geographic regions along with recruiting of new partners and represents Telarus to Supplier Channel Managers (Local Channel Managers or LCM's), current Telarus partners, and prospective partners.
This position reports directly to the Vice President, West.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Recruiting
Form alliances with provider LCM's
Identify, visit, and sign active partners not currently selling with Telarus
Identify, visit, and sign MSP's and VAR's not currently selling network and voice services
Activating and Growing
Build, maintain, and manage relationships with new, current and prospective channel partners
Responds and communicates promptly with partners and team members
Acts as a liaison between Telarus and the assigned channel partners
Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned partner accounts
Coordinates the involvement of Telarus personnel, including support, service, and management resources to help meet partner performance objectives and partners' expectations
Participates in a partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship
Builds relationships with Suppliers to identify mutual greenfield opportunities with shared partners and potential new partners
Host local events with suppliers
Performs other related duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
Must have channel experience and Technology solutions experience
Must be organized
Must be in current role for a minimum of 1 year
Connecter and thrive on meeting new people and networking
Team Player

Self-motivator who strives in a competitive atmosphere
Exceptional written and verbal skills with engaging phone presence. Effective listener.
Maintain a role of ethics and honesty
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Ability to initiate and build relationships with people in an open, friendly, and accepting manner
Ability to adapt and adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change
Attends Telarus sales meetings and training functions
Attends training for new products, services, and technology
Minimal travel required
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
Intermediate computer knowledge
Must have Channel background
Must have a Telecom background
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Candidate must reside in CA, OR, or WA.
