This location offers a wonderful place to live with a lower cost of living, and a diverse economy that includes agriculture, livestock, machinery, healthcare, higher education, and financial services. Additionally, it boasts a vibrant community with activities to suit everyone's interests, all within a population of 25,000. Requirements: Must hold an Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Preferably, two to three years of management experience with a minimum of three years of clinical experience in an acute care setting. Must have an active Iowa RN License and current BCLS certification. Hours and Compensation: Two open positions: 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am. Salary range is between $63,000 and $84,000. Full benefit package offered, including a sign-on bonus of up to $25,000. Responsibilities: Oversee the management of nursing personnel, providing leadership, coaching, and guidance. Actively participate in QA/PI projects to ensure compliance with regulations. Follow facility infection control policies and procedures. Assist with hospital regulatory compliance. Facilitate scheduling to meet hospital needs. Provide fair and consistent leadership to all departments. Report QI, risk, and safety concerns to the Director of the department. Complete variance reports or statements of concern in a timely manner. Contribute to individualized patient care by monitoring whiteboards and patient satisfaction criteria. Notify staff of emergency situations. Follow established hospital procedures in emergencies. Maintain clear and positive communication with co-workers and promote teamwork. Serve as a resource for problem-solving. Represent the health center positively in the presence of patients and community members. Additional Information: Facility has over 200 beds and these positions report to the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO). This is a cohesive department where teamwork is highly valued, so we are seeking candidates with excellent communication skills who will fit in well with the team.
