Interim Remote Senior Accountant

Our Vaco team is partnering with a local, Nashville based healthcare client on hiring multiple remoteinterim Senior Accountants to support them through the end of the year.

We are seeking (2) senior cash accountants and (3) senior accountants to support daily/routine transactions.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business is required
  • 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, with multiple years of full-cycle accounting
  • Must have demonstrated experience with a large ERP (Oracle, SAP, Great Plains, etc.)

As a Senior Accountant your typical day may involve:

  • Performing assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual general ledger closing processes
  • Assisting in the development of financial statements and reports
  • Reviewing and explaining variances to budget/forecast and to previous reporting periods on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Preparing journal entries and monthly account reconciliations
  • Working closely with other functional areas and business management to resolve issues and support achievement of business goals
