ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Maintains a clean and safe work environment. Performs duties in compliance with safety procedures.
- Regular and reliable attendance is a fundamental requirement of this position. Employees are expected to be punctual and consistently present during their scheduled work hours to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the business.
- Verifies all money transactions handled by the Cage and Black Jack, Roulette, and Craps Tables.
- Audits transactions for accuracy, theft, and account variances.
- Verifies all entries made by soft and hard count teams, including but not limited to: drops, fill/credits, and openers/closers, for accuracy and compliance with gaming regulations. Prepares reports for casino General Managers and Internal Revenue Service, as needed.
- Verifies all slot summary information including drops, jackpot/fills, and necessary reports.Analyzes Drop Team activities and Drop Team variances through electronic verification.
- Performs audits of sensitive areas as authorized and in compliance with gaming regulations.
- Performs all responsibilities in compliance with the Colorado Limited Gaming Act, Internal Control Minimum Procedures, Colorado Limited Gaming Regulations, and internal policies and procedures.
- Informs supervisor of any concerns regarding the accuracy or authorization of any financial activity.
- Maintains alertness for the performance of all responsibilities and a general awareness of casino operations at all times.
- Performs other duties, including special projects as needed and directed.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Demonstrated skill performing basic mathematics. Demonstrated effective and diplomatic customer service and communication skills. Demonstrated experience performing within specific deadlines or under pressure. Demonstrated experience problem solving, organizing, and prioritizing work. Experience in Gaming and significant knowledge of Cage and/or Floor Operations is preferred.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Graduation from High School, preferably with completion of college level accounting courses, or equivalent amount of experience and education. One (1) or more years of recent and related auditing or accounting experience, preferably within a gaming environment.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Demonstrated effective and diplomatic oral and written communication skills using English.
REASONING ABILITY:No decision making is required beyond the scope of essential duties.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Must have a valid and current State of Colorado Gaming License. Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
OTHER SKILLS/ABILITIES: Demonstrated computer skills including Excel and skills performing typing, data entry, and filing.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Essential duties involve performing physical exertion, including prolonged periods of sitting, occasional walking, climbing stairs, stooping, bending, stretching, reaching, and standing with standard breaks.Essential duties may require lifting up to 30 pounds of related equipment and general office supplies.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
$17.50+ per hour based on experience
