We do it because it's rightJob Description:Provide clinical guidance, supervise and schedule the daily work flow for Case Management within Health Resources Management (HRM) with focus on appropriate utilization of services and appropriate outcomes. Job ResponsibilitiesProvide clinical expertise, guidance and supervision to the Case Management staff. Lead by example and act as a resource to staff by resolving clinical, benefit and staff issues. Manage the case management process in collaboration with other departments and external clinical stakeholders. Assure necessary support to clinical and non-clinical personnel to maximize efficacy and support good decision making.Assist in setting and achieving unit and department goals/standards consistent with business objectives.Support implementation of department policies and procedures.Participate in recruitment, retention of staff, and training.Support a positive work environment, motivating staff and fostering teamwork.Build and maintain appropriate relationships on behalf of HPMG.Evaluate employee performance and provide appropriate feedback.Serve as a resource for physicians, providers, members and staff.Supervise the administration of Medical Management Specialty Teams and support the clinical initiatives.Meet with staff, communicate and receive feedback on operational issues.Participate in annual review and revision while collaborating with other regions to ensure consistency in application. Evaluate employee performance and provide appropriate feedback.Assist in budget preparation with unit director and share accountability for managing the department budget.Data analysis, track and trend performance for the purpose of suggesting changes.Identify and/or work with staff and management to identify process inefficiencies. Work with internal and external stakeholders to implement more efficient processes and monitor effectiveness.Other duties as assigned.Required ExperienceMinimum three years clinical nursing experience.Supervisory experience and/or demonstrated leadership skills preferred.Strong leadership, organizational, and communications skills.Ability to work effectively with a variety of customers including physicians, managers, providers, office staff, health plans and internal staff members.Proficient in MS office applications.Strong computer skills for application implementation and monitoring as well as mentoring staff on these applications.Required EducationActive, unrestricted California Nurse (RN) Licensure required.Bachelor's Degree in health related field required, or equivalent experience.Active CCM certification preferred.Additional InformationHill Physicians is an Equal Opportunity Employer
