Look no further We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Stand-Up Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team at a cutting-edge food production facilty.

salary: $16.74 - $16.75 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 5 AM - 2 PM
education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

  • Safe Operation of Equipment: Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently in cold and often slippery conditions.
  • Loading and Unloading: Load and unload goods from trucks, storage areas, ensuring that products are not damaged.
  • Storage and Retrieval: Move goods to and from storage areas, accurately placing them in designation locations.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with inventory control, including counting and recording inventory items, maintaining accurate logs, and reporting discrepancies.
  • Quality Control: Inspect products for damage or defects and report any issues immediately.
  • Maintenance and Inspection: Perform routine checks and maintenance on forklifts, ensuring they are in good working order and reporting any issues to the maintenance team.
  • Compliance with Safety Regulations: Follow all safety guidelines and protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) for cold environments.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and other departments to coordinate activities and ensure efficient workflow.
  • Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork and logs, such as inventory forms, and maintenance records.
  • Training: Stay updated on training for operating forklifts in the cold environments and any new safety protocols.
  • Adaptability: Adjust to working in various cold environments, including refrigerated warehouses, and be prepared to work in these conditions for extended periods.


The essential functions of this role include:
