The Quality Director will report directly to the VP/General Manager who is looking to begin the interview process ASAP
POSITION OVERVIEW
Candidate will report to the General Manager while managing a department of (20) over a 1,200+ employee/$1B revenue campus.
Complete financial/budgetary ownership of department (50+ associates)
Candidate will assume ownership over both the plant quality function in addition to oversite over Quality Lab while working cross functionally with different departments (Lab has "Lab Quality Manager)
Provide direction and leadership consistent with company and business plan goals.
Maintain and develop strategic relationships with key suppliers and vendors
Direct and drive the utilization of problem solving methods for related plant and customer issues.
Work closely with plant staff to development "HI-POT " talent
Responsible for improving process efficiency through best practices, SOP's, and lean manufacturing.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Degree is preferred for consideration
Aerospace and/or Metals experience is preferred for consideration
Candidate should have at least 5 years of Quality Leadership experience within highly regulated environment
Experience with AS9100/AS13100 preferred
Data driven/process oriented
