As a Security Officer - Logistics Driver in Edwardsville, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As part of Allied Universal, you will be responsible for access control duties at a logistics and distribution location, helping to deter security-related incidents through routine patrols and visible presence. This is a driving post, so you will operate company vehicles as part of your daily responsibilities. What You'll Do: Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials and authorizations of individuals entering and exiting the premises. Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity. Assist with traffic control and vehicle inspections as required at entry and exit points. Document and report any unusual activity or hazards observed during patrols or at access points. Support emergency response activities as directed by site procedures and Allied Universal protocols. Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees and visitors. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
