Maintenance Technician - Hiring ASAP Starting Pay/Wages: $32.00-$42.00/hr Shift Premium: $3.00-$4.00/hr Hours/Shift Openings: 1st shift: 6:00am-2:00pm 2nd shift: 2:00pm-10:00pm 3rd shift: 10:00pm-6:00am Extra Information: Placement Type: Direct Hire Full Benefits: Health, dental, vision, 401k, plus a stock option Vacation: 3 weeks of PTO Tools: All tools are supplied. Duties & Qualifications Repairing electrical and mechanical components on conveyors, mixers, palletizers, packagers, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems. Troubleshooting Allen Bradley or Siemens PLCs. Troubleshooting/repairing VFDs, proximity sensors, limit switches, photo-eyes, fuses, relays, actuators, contactors. Rewiring/troubleshooting single and three phase motors up to 480v. Repairing gear boxes, shafts, bearings, valves, cylinders, shafts, chains, etc. Fabrication & repair. Experience operating overhead cranes and forklifts. Responsibilities Diagnose machine malfunctions and operating problems. Inspect machinery and observe operations to detect the cause of malfunctions. Make necessary repairs and adjustments to keep machinery in production. Repair and maintain company machinery according to blueprints, catalogs, and data charts. Disassemble and rebuild machines; overhaul troublesome components and attachments. Dismantle, inspect, machine, and/or replace purchased parts. Select replacement parts from parts lists and catalogs. Lay out repair parts; set up and operate machine tools to machine parts. Improvise tooling as necessary. Perform machinist work related to the installation of new machine tools or relocation of existing machines. Work as part of a project team to complete assignments. Perform routine housekeeping activities in the work area. Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills Proficiency in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems. Experience with preventive maintenance and PLC troubleshooting. Additional Skills & Qualifications Journeyman certification is a big plus. Ability to work independently and take initiative. Open to candidates with supervisor-level experience. Job Type & Location This is a permanent position based out of Menomonee Falls, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
