POSITION SUMMARYThe Social Media Specialist is responsible for Lowell Five Bank's presence on multiple social media channels, digital marketing efforts and digital properties. This position will oversee the brand positioning on social media, a robust calendar of social media content and complementary paid digital marketing efforts.ABOUT LOWELL FIVEWith nearly $1.7 billion in assets, over 200 employees and 15 banking center locations throughout the Merrimack Valley and Southern New Hampshire, Lowell Five is honored to play a vital role in the economic vitality of the region.We provide support of, and our employees are engaged in, a myriad of leadership roles for numerous community boards and organizations.We are proud of the longevity of our employees and we are committed to finding new talent for our team.We offer career development and educational programs to support personal and professional growth along with a benefit package that supports each employee's best life.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESSocial Media Planning Create and maintain an annual calendar, develop and implement organic social media content via real-time posting and advanced schedulingCurate and manage online social platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and online review sites (Google, Yelp, Glassdoor, Indeed, etc.)Perform competitive research to ensure our content is compelling and uniqueContent DevelopmentLead content development for social media, both paid and organicUtilize department tools for photography and videography as needed for capturing high quality social contentCollaborate with videographer to create ongoing content that is tied to business growth goalsWork with graphic designer to create social media campaign assetsExecution and Implementation Manage the posting of content daily, weekly and in advance to ensure we have relevant, brand-appropriate contentCoordinate requests and content from across the Bank, provide guidance on what type of content should be captured and shared via social/digital channelsFacilitate the review and approval process with stakeholders including Marketing and Compliance teamsWork with media agency on paid social media campaignsCreate and manage landing pages for lead capture via paid social media campaignsMeasurement Pull reports in Google Analytics as neededMake recommendations for the best tools for both monitoring and posting contentCreate and share weekly, monthly, quarterly social media reports with insightful analytics, make recommendations for future content improvements that will elevate the perception of the Bank and grow awareness with existing and new audiencesCollaborate with Business Intelligence on reporting and follow through of lead generation activities via paid social mediaPlease note this job description is not designed to cover a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree in business, communications, or marketing2-4 years of related marketing experienceUp to date with social media and digital marketing best practices and emerging trendsUnderstanding of and foundation in marketing and social media analyticsProficient in all social media platforms, working knowledge of Meta and Google AnalyticsEffective writer, including brand tone and manner, proper grammarStrong organizational, project management and analytical skillsCapable of working independently and solving problemsDetail-oriented with ability to communicate professionally, both in writing and verballyAbility to multi-task, prioritize, and adapt to a changing environmentProficient in Microsoft OfficeGeneral knowledge of banking products and services and compliance regulations related to marketing activities would be a plus.Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
