Headquartered in Lakeshore Center in Bridgewater, Massachusetts, Claremont Companies is a privately owned and closely held real estate investment, development and asset management firm. Today, Claremont owns in excess of 60 real estate assets consisting of hotels, apartments, retail centers, and office buildings with plans to expand even further.

Claremont is growing and were looking to add a Sales Coordinator to our team to support our Homewood Suites hotel in Needham, MA. This role is responsible for assisting the Director of Sales with coordinating, selling and setting up meeting spaces and we would love to add you to our team

Responsibilities:

Establish and improve the reputation of the hotel by offering a very personalized style of service as per the hotel's standard operating procedures.
Read and analyze group sales forms to gather guest requirements or needs.
Responsible for meetings, making introductions, and ensuring that all arrangements and requirements are gathered with all group and function business.
Read and analyze Banquet event order (BEO) / to gather guests' requirements, determine proper set up, buffet, audio/visuals, and timeline, and also give attention to any special guest needs.
Timely attend all telephone calls using clear and professional language, and answer telephones using appropriate telephone etiquette.
Answer phone, direct to the appropriate person, and/or take messages.
Assist with typing of the Banquet and Sales correspondence, i.e. answering mail, confirming banquet arrangements, menus, BEO, FP, memos, etc.
Promptly respond to all inquiries.
Compose, publish, and distribute Banquet event orders (BEO) and group resumes to all department heads and personnel who are involved in servicing the guest's needs.
Work with management and other heads of departments at all times and assist in carrying out special requirements and duties necessary in adding to the guests general comfort and well-being.
Distribute promptly to all departments about notice of any change in the Banquet event order (BEO) and group resumes.
Prepare signage and menu items for all banquet events function
Requirements:
Degree in Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management, Marketing or equivalent
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Prefer experience in Property Management Software's, Delphi Sales and Catering, OnQ Sales and Catering and SalePro software
