General Overview:Candidate will provide engineering support for electronic and electro-mechanical equipment and processes, including the development, initiation, and modification of processes for the production of new components. Will plan and coordinate the integration of new machinery and equipment into manufacturing processes, may include fabrication and testing of new machine components and tooling for the production of new products. Develop preventive maintenance programs for production, machinery, tooling, and equipment. Testing of processes and machinery to identify and resolve production problems. Develop and implement ergonomic improvements.Main ResponsibilitiesCoordinating the molding efforts on new program launchesSetting up and revising manufacturing processesCreating, adjusting and improving 3-axis/6-axis robot programsAssisting the manufacturing operations in problem solving and continuous process improvementsEstablishing process conditions through scientific molding for new productsTroubleshooting molding processes and material or equipment issuesSupporting the Injection Molding team to ensure they develop and produce quality products in an efficient and safe manner, utilizing proven scientific methods and processesManaging complex projects to design, prototype, build, and commercialize Injection Molding processesLeading development of specifications and acceptance protocols, to purchase production injection molds and pressesManaging vendors in the design, development and implementation of injection molds and pressesAssist to resolve and performing preventive analyses on day-to-day issues and suggest improvements related to business user related queriesCoordinate with various teams, analyze root cause, and assist in efficient resolution of all production issues/processesMonitor, highlight, and escalate the issues for production systemsAnalyze the business processes and ensure compliance to all controlled processes according to business requirementsCoordinate with different internal and external stakeholders along with third party vendors and ensure effective and seamless communicationShould be flexible and enthusiastic to learn new systemsRequirements4-8 years engineering experienceBachelor's degree in engineering preferredBENEFITS INCLUDECompetitive payHealth InsuranceDental InsurancePrescriptionVision401K + Company matchLife InsuranceShort Term DisabilityLong Term DisabilityEducation AssistanceFlex SpendingEmployee Assistance Programs12 Paid HolidaysPaid Time OffTAC Manufacturing, Inc. is a Japanese owned automotive parts supplier, serving the Japanese Transplants (Toyota, Nissan, Subaru, etc.) as well as the domestic OEMs (Ford and GM).
