Job Summary

Entry level, learning position which assists the IT Manager in the development and maintenance of computer applications to support company objectives.

Essential Functions

  • Applications Programming
    • Troubleshoot, maintain, and support existing applications and software.
  • Create and maintain data reports
  • Desktop maintenance; install, upgrade and replace software
Additional Responsibilities
  • Maintain and monitor the system backup process for our database
Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Basic knowledge in programming language. Such as:
    • C#.NET, VB.NET and SQL script
  • Understanding of Desktop Operating Systems
  • Basic knowledge of Windows Server Operating Systems including Exchange Server
  • Familiarity with Routers, Switches VPN, and network hardware
  • Comfortable to communicate with all employees throughout the organization
Education and Experience
  • Currently enrolled in Computer Science or an equivalent two or four year program.
  • Desktop hardware and software
  • Basic understanding of Networks and Servers
Physical Demands
  • Manual dexterity to install, operate and repair computers
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. on occasion
  • Ability to stand and/or sit for extended period
  • Ability to kneel, crouch or bend on occasion


Salary Description

$20.00 per hour
