POSITION SUMMARY:
We are looking for an Outpatient Registration Specialist to join our Outpatient Services team The Outpatient Registration Specialist r
eceives patients and visitors to Outpatient and Emergency Services. They are responsible for maintaining patient flow, scheduling appointments, forwarding appropriate phone calls, registering patients, upgrading demographic and general clerical duties. They will also act as cashier and perform other finance office duties.
* This position is PRN or Temporary. PRN option is varied hours every 2 weeks. Temporary option is 2pm-10:30pm Monday through Friday with rotating weekends for 4 months in the summer. *
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge of Excel, email, and financial billing systems preferred.
