Job Purpose

As an Estimator you will be responsible for preparing, communicating, and tracking all quoting activities both. Internally and externally.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Reviews data to determine material and labor requirements and prepares itemized list.

Computes cost factors and prepares estimates used for management purposes such as planning, organizing, preparing bids, selecting vendors, or other individuals to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues .

To respond to RF`Q in timely manner

To communicate with Sales , Engineering and Material manager to gather information needed to quote jobs.

Prepare documents needed for Quote Review

Retrieve outside sourcing quotes as needed for Quote Review

Schedule Quote Review with senior management and follow up as needed.

Complete Quote Entry and communication of final quote to customer prior to deadline

To maintain database of quotes

To communicate database of quotes

To communicate new jobs/customers to company keeping all informed

Notice differences between estimated cost and actual cost.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and/ or Experience

High School Diploma required or general education (GED)

One year quoting experience working as an estimator in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Proficiency in using computer and company communication tools ,such as email, internet, and Microsoft products (e.g., Word, Excel, and Office, and Outlook).

Attendance and punctuality a must.

Must be Highly organized and possess the ability to multitask to meet deadlines ina challenging fast paced environment.

Ability to work independently and cohesively as part of a team.

Proficiency in mathematics, statistics, and data analysis

Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail

Familiarity with analyzing requirement data to develop material and cost estimates for large projects.

Expertise with analytic tools, such as spreadsheets and database managers

Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills

Exceptional time management skills.
