Job Summary and Qualifications

The CT student will work directly with a CT technologist to assist with the workflow in the CT department. The student will obtain patient clinical histories, assess factors that may negatively affect scans, accurately position and immobilize patients and recognize signs and symptoms of an emergency all while learning the basic principles of CT. Other duties include, but are not limited to clerical, transportation, cleaning, and anything deemed necessary by the Medical Imaging Management Team.

What qualifications you will need:
  • BLS
  • SCRQSA Temporary Limited Practice Radiographer Certificate

  • Registry eligible upon Graduation

  • Second year student currently attending an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology with documentation of completion of the competency levels of a Limited Radiographer.
