Title: Mortgage Loan Processor
Location: Westport, CT
Potential Compensation: $60,000 to $100,000 with bonuses
Responsibilities:
- Manage the real estate loan process from inception to closing using detailed workflows
- Supervise all administrative roles for borrower and seller transactions from contract to close
- Aid real estate agents, clientele, and other stakeholders requisite paperwork and ensure the completion of all closing documentation
- Responsible for interfacing and communicating with stakeholders to ensure processing and underwriting tasks are being done timely and accurately.
- Coordinate timelines with borrowers title companies, insurance agents to obtain necessary information
- Understand loan documents, mortgage process and loan origination system to effectively manage workflows
- Track all outstanding items with stakeholders to ensure timely receipt of necessary documentation.
- Maintain effective communication on loan status with partners.
- Assist leadership with the preparation and distribution loan level data.
- Identify and communicate risks and learn pitfalls to avoid when working through loan files.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and security while handling personal information; verbal and/or written documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors in business or related field
- 2+ years in banking and lending
- Real estate experience is preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Entrepreneurial oriented
