Key Responsibilities: Financial Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software and spreadsheets. Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports summarizing the organization's financial status and trends. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts based on financial data and historical trends. Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and in a timely manner. Reconciliation: Perform regular bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies. Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding financial transactions and reporting. Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations. Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required. Proven experience (internships or entry-level positions) in accounting or a related field preferred. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP). Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and financial regulations. Additional Requirements: CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification or progress towards certification is a plus. Familiarity with tax preparation and filing processes is beneficial. Experience with financial analysis and reporting tools is advantageous. Willingness to stay updated on industry developments and best practices. Working Conditions: Typical office environment with regular hours. Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
