What you will do as the Grain Accountant:Complete and review daily grain accounting duties including preparation of commodity position validation and analysis, ensuring all risk positions are reported and monitored

• Partner with the commodity manager on customer inquiries related to commodity contracts and payments
• Enter, organize, and manage commodity purchase contracts and customer liens
• Perform customer account management and reconciliation for Customer and General Ledger
• Assist with monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
• Assist with monthly commodity reporting
• Prepare government and industry reports
• Ensure the accuracy of financial reporting and analysis and work

What you will bring to the role as the Grain Accountant:2-year degree in Business or Accounting

• 2+ years of finance, accounting, customer service, or related work experience
• Demonstrated high levels of interpersonal communication, written and verbal communication, and documentation skills
• Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook skills
• Valid Drivers License
