- Have at least 7 years of professional software development experience, with a focus on e-commerce systems
- Experience building event driven architectures using technologies such as Kineses, RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc
- Very comfortable working in high risk, high ambiguity situations with priorities that shift as new discoveries are made
- A proven track record of delivering solutions that solve the immediate problem (and no more) in such a way as to make future iteration easy and efficient
- Shopify experience a plus
- Excited to be physically together with your team in our Hollywood office
- Build and maintain delightful APIs and event driven networks at scale using Go, Kafka and Kubernetes
- Build and maintain industry transforming buying experiences using React, ReactNative and Typescript
- Participate in highly collaborative and creative design conversations as we solve the biggest problems in livestream shopping
- Coach, and be coached by, other highly intelligent, skilled and motivated engineers
