Are you looking for an opportunity to flex your technical skills as part of an engineering design team developing digital architectures? The Modeling, Analytics, and Simulation Sciences (MASS) Operation is seeking a Junior Modeling and Simulation Engineer to support our customer at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC). As a member of our engineering team, you will work alongside engineers, analysts, and software developers to implement authoritative engineering and parametric models that contribute to our nation's defense.

Required Skills

•Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field

•Strong communication and organizational skills

•US citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance

•Proficiency with software development in C++ (or other object-oriented language)

Desired Qualifications

•Experience using source control and CI/CD tools such as git, Bitbucket, Gitlab, Jenkins, Gitlab runners or similar

•Experience with modeling and simulation tools including AFSIM, ITASE, or NGTS

•Experience applying object-oriented design patterns within software applications

•Experience with virtual machine and container management platforms such as WSL2 and Docker

•Experience with integrated development environments such as Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, PyCharm, etc

•Knowledge of aerospace/defense systems and processes

•Familiarity with DoD security practices

•Current security clearance
