Family Amenities Coordinator_

UVA Health Children’s is committed to providing quality, holistic care to our pediatric patients and their patient families. The Amenities Coordinator at UVA Health Children’s would plan, organize, and facilitate family centered care initiatives. This position would collaborate with multiple departments to ensure that UVA Health Children’s is meeting the social, emotional, and financial needs of our patient families. This role would report to the manager of PFCC and would assist with special events, in-kind donations, and community visitors. + Assist with planning special visitors and events to the Children’s Hospital, working closely with multiple departments. + Coordinate and carry out the daily duties of the “Feed Our Families” program. + Order items needed to carry out day to day functions of the PFCC Program. + Monitors and maintains inventory of general supplies and equipment as designated in competency expectations, ordering supplies in an accurate timely manner. + Coordinate and facilitate Soho Book Program, a program that promotes literacy. + Manage and facilitates in-kind donations to the Children’s Hospital. Manages gift acknowledgment and timely donor correspondence. + Performs special projects to meet identified project goals and objectives. + Other duties as assigned. Position Compensation Range: $15.00 - $21.58 Hourly MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: High school diploma required. Bachelors or associates preferred. Experience: Administration experience preferred, paid or volunteer experience in a healthcare setting preferred. Licensure: None. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Job requires sitting for prolonged periods, frequently bending/stooping. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull < 20lbs.
