Opportunity

Reporting directly to the Director of Information Security, the Security Analyst role is to assist and perform the day-to-day activities related to security operations and incident response. In this position you will learn to develop, help manage and enforce the security policies, identify security vulnerabilities, propose remediations actions, and participate in and conduct audits ensuring cyber security standards are followed. The ideal candidate will be team-oriented, have strong technical communication skills, an enjoy solving issues within a fast-paced exciting environment.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for monitoring and analyzing Caliber security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other security tools
  • Detect, analyze potential security threats, and vulnerabilities to ensure that Caliber's systems and data are not at risk
  • Conduct regular security audits to identify any security gaps, vulnerabilities, or weaknesses in an organization's security systems
  • Develop and implement security policies, standards, and procedures that ensure the protection of Caliber's data and systems
  • Design, implement, and manage IAM policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Conduct access reviews and assessments to ensure appropriate levels of access are maintained.
  • Collaborate with IT and business units to define and implement IAM strategies aligned with organizational goals
  • Support with external and internal audit requests (e.g., SOX audit and customer audits)
  • Respond to security incidents, including breaches or attempted breaches, to minimize the impact on Caliber's data and systems
  • Develop and deliver security training programs to raise awareness and enhance the security posture of the organization.
  • Collaborate with HR and IT teams to ensure that employees are well-informed about security policies and practices.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest security and compliance trends and technologies to ensure that Caliber's security systems are up-to-date and effective
  • On-call 24x7 rotation


Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in information security, information technology, or related field or equivalent relevant experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in information security-related activities within an Information Technology organization
  • Strong knowledge of information security frameworks, controls and best practices (ISO 2700, NIST CSF, COBIT, CIS etc.)
  • CISSP, CEH, GIAC, Sec+, CISA or similar Industry security certification(s) preferred
  • Great organizational and time management skills
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to apply technically oriented concepts to problem solving and engineering design
  • Ability to communicate and clearly, both verbally and written
  • Strong project management skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to motivate others
