Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and self-motivated Part-Time Driver to join our team. This part time driver will be responsible for safely transporting goods, materials, or passengers in a vehicle. The ideal candidate has a strong commitment to safety, excellent time management skills, is available for multi-day trips within North America, and a customer-focused attitude. This person must be flexible to meet the rapidly changing requirements of our industry.

Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate company vehicles under 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW).
Timely Pick up, transport, and deliver goods, materials, or passengers to designated locations.
Ensure proper handling and securement of cargo to prevent damage during transport.
Follow assigned routes and schedules while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance.
Assist the logistics Manager with inspection and inventory of equipment and supplies.
Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients, vendors, and team members.
Report any accidents, delays, or vehicle issues to the supervisor promptly.
Assist with loading and unloading goods as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. (CDL preferred)
Valid passport or other travel document allowing for travel into Canada
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Familiarity with GPS devices and navigation tools.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends or overtime, as needed.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Previous delivery or driving experience is a plus.
Experience with pulling and backing trailers is a plus.

Working Conditions:

Work may involve extended periods (multi days) of driving and occasional physical labor (e.g., loading/unloading cargo).

Exposure to various weather conditions depending on the delivery location and schedule.

Frequent one-way travel is often required. (transportation & lodging is company provided)
