Pomperaug Woods is recruiting a hospitality focused Server/AM Coordinator to join our team This position is responsible for full-scope, hands-on production cooking in the Community Culinary Services Department. Is responsible for always maintaining a superior level of quality service and cleanliness.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Server/AM Coordinator:
  1. Sets tables and maintains workstations in proper order.
  2. Takes orders, provides service and requested items both graciously and courteously.
  3. Clears dishes from tables during and after meal service.
  4. Ensures that all dining areas at maintained and kept in clean and sanitary condition.
  5. Completes all assigned side work such as filling salt and pepper shakers, sugar/creamers, Ice bins, making coffee, maintaining waitstaff stations, etc.
  6. Restocks buffet tables as well as Juice and coffee stations.
  7. Answers pertinent questions about menu items.
Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:
  1. Experience waiting tables in a hotel, restaurant or club with fine dining preferred; will train.
  2. Experience in a long term care community or hospital setting preferred; will train.
  3. Ability to interpret and explain menu, refer or answer questions, coordinate meal service process and understands requests.
