Pomperaug Woods is recruiting a hospitality focused Server/AM Coordinator to join our team This position is responsible for full-scope, hands-on production cooking in the Community Culinary Services Department. Is responsible for always maintaining a superior level of quality service and cleanliness.

- Sets tables and maintains workstations in proper order.
- Takes orders, provides service and requested items both graciously and courteously.
- Clears dishes from tables during and after meal service.
- Ensures that all dining areas at maintained and kept in clean and sanitary condition.
- Completes all assigned side work such as filling salt and pepper shakers, sugar/creamers, Ice bins, making coffee, maintaining waitstaff stations, etc.
- Restocks buffet tables as well as Juice and coffee stations.
- Answers pertinent questions about menu items.
- Experience waiting tables in a hotel, restaurant or club with fine dining preferred; will train.
- Experience in a long term care community or hospital setting preferred; will train.
- Ability to interpret and explain menu, refer or answer questions, coordinate meal service process and understands requests.
