Quickly moving into other industries, we are a fast-paced and agile company looking for a best-in-class Electrical Designer Engineer willing to roll up their sleeves and exude a passion for the field. What you will do * Specify automation and electrical components to meet customer specifications, application requirements, and industrial standards * Create custom control panel layouts and bills of materials * Design wiring diagrams, schematic diagrams, and one-line power distribution drawings * Perform enclosure FLA and heat dissipation calculations * Create and maintain AutoCAD Electrical templates, blocks and symbols library * Organize and maintain project drawings and technical information * Work with project managers and operations manager to schedule and prioritize tasks What you will need to succeed * AS/BS in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related discipline * Experience in electrical design using AutoCAD Electrical * Knowledge of UL 508A, UL 698A, NFPA 79, and CSA standards preferred * Ability to coordinate multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment * Experience within the automation industry preferred Physical demands The Physical demands described within are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. * Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. * Must be able to lift to 20-30 pounds independently; lifting from knee to shoulder heights; other lifting required from various levels * Must be able to remain stationary position for extended periods of time, prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer What you'll love about us MKD employees are the company's greatest assets.
