Senior Performance Digital Marketing Manager

£45K - £50K - Leeds City Centre, On-Site Overview of Role: Coptrz, a central Leeds based leading commercial and B2C drone solutions company, is seeking an experienced Senior Performance Digital Marketing Manager to join our Marketing team and thrive in a fast pace working environment. This pivotal role will involve planning, creating, developing, delivering overseeing and enhancing our digital marketing strategies, activity, spend and ROAS, with a focus on paid channels such as PPC, Facebook, and LinkedIn. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, developing, delivering, monitoring, and reporting on digital marketing initiatives, generating B2B ecommerce sales and direct sales leads for the Sales Team, key role in the growth and success of Coptrz. We currently manage all organic social media and email internally, although rely heavily on agencies for paid digital marketing, focussed on quality B2B / B2Education target audiences, using Facebook (previous limited LinkedIn although key focus to revisit, test and optimise and develop this platform) and PPC. Our plan and requirement for this role is to replace our reliance, continued use, costs and view of limited performance from our agencies, with this key internal new role. We require a proven lead generator digital expert who is an “all-rounder” with experience and skills covering: planning, content development (quality, insightful content and copy incorporating key terms and messaging and graphics – with some support from existing team), deployment of range of digital marketing campaigns and channels, tracking, enhancements, proactive and responsive actions of all paid digital media including optimisation and detailed reporting, inc. ROAS based on sales conversion/value. Minimum 5 years paid media development and management experience, gained either in-house Marketing Teams or agencies, or both. Job Description: As a Senior Performance Digital Marketing at Coptrz, your responsibilities will include: Review and work collaboratively with the existing Marketing Team and marketing plans, in order to develop and deliver effective paid digital marketing and provide expert advice and support to the team on organic social media. Review and ‘audit’ all aspects of current paid digital, set up and managed currently by our agencies, to ensure best practice and effective structure to ensure we have a solid foundation to develop and enhance the performance of this channel in 2024 +. Identify, use insights (in our business and your own digital experience and insights) to build and develop customer audiences and profiles for targeted and effective digital marketing. Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies aligned with business goals for the company, target industries/sectors across UK and development internationally (initial focus on Germany). Assess and optimise existing digital marketing channels while exploring new opportunities for growth. Paid Advertising Management: Oversee PPC campaigns, Facebook advertising, and revisit, test and drive the effective utilisation of LinkedIn for paid marketing. Collaborate with current external agencies (in a brief, focussed hand over of our accounts from our agencies to this role) and internal teams to ensure paid campaigns align with overall marketing objectives. In initial period, including brief handover, need for managing and maximising value / benefit from specialist agencies and freelance resources (digital / creative). Increased need for key regions / countries (in addition to current focus on UK, potential for development, test and running paid digital in Germany), as such international/global e-commerce and paid digital experience would be an advantage. Content Development: Plan and create compelling, insightful, benefit lead, relevant and responsive copy and longer-form content for a wide range of digital marketing initiatives, including creating ad copy, copywriting and visual assets. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent brand messaging across all digital channels. Campaign Delivery: Lead the end-to-end execution of all aspects of digital marketing campaigns, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output. Monitor campaign performance and make data-driven adjustments for optimal results. Website enhancement and optimisation: Experience in landing page creation (desire for us to review and enhance our current multiple Industry dedicated pages and enhance their focus, structure and effectiveness at lead generation, based on structure, content, messaging, best practice and CTAs) and Conversion Rate Optimisation. Experience in lead generation optimisation inc. contact form-based landing pages inc. gated content including on LinkedIn. Testing and Optimisation: Need to have a focussed approach and discipline of testing inc. AB on key elements / versions and track and select and use insights / results to continuously optimise. Monitoring and Reporting: Implement robust tracking and reporting systems to measure the effectiveness of digital marketing efforts. Propose, working with the Marketing and SLT relevant and effective reporting format and tools, including potential reporting dashboards. Provide regular reports and insights, making data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement. Budget Management: Manage and optimise digital marketing budgets effectively to maximize ROI. Work collaboratively with finance teams to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Training, Repair and Servicing, and Customer Service, to align digital marketing efforts with overall business objectives. Support existing team with organic social media enhancing strategy, plans, audience insights and effectiveness. Key Skills and Experience: Digital Marketing Expertise : Proven experience in planning, executing, and optimizing digital marketing strategies. In-depth knowledge of PPC, Google Shopping, Facebook Ads, and LinkedIn advertising – inc. although not limited to Document Ads, Conversation Ads and maximising LI for effective, quality lead gen. Ecommerce/B2C Expertise: Proven experience in overseeing effective, results-based e-commerce marketing and sales campaigns. Best practice Google Merchant Centre set-up and continually review and development. Organic social media: Support existing team with development of audience insights and social media strategy and plans for/ tailored for relevant social media platforms for both B2B and B2C target audience. Audience identification, build and deployment: Build audiences for B2B targeted campaigns using insights gained from Marketing and Sales team on target audience profile. Content Creation: Strong copywriting skills and the ability to create visually appealing assets. Proven experience in producing effective and proven results-based copy, ad copy and assets. Experience developing multimedia content for diverse digital channels. Analytical Skills: Proficient in using analytics tools to measure and interpret campaign performance. Data-driven decision-making and optimisation skills. Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and objectives. Experience leading and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Digital Industry Knowledge: You need to be an industry expert across all aspects of digital marketing for B2B e-commerce sales and lead generation. Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the drone industry or technology-related sectors is a plus. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across B2B (primary focus) and B2C: ROI: Measure and improve the Return on Investment / ROAS for digital marketing campaigns. Lead Generation: Increase quality (liaising with Marketing & Sales for target customer profile and building audiences) leads through digital channels. New customer orders Existing customer orders Conversion Rates: Optimise conversion rates from digital marketing efforts, using CRO experience and skills. Brand Awareness: Enhance brand visibility and awareness in the target market. Budget Adherence: Ensure effective planning, allocation, management and tracking of digital marketing budgets.
