Functional Analyst

Job Overview

This mid-level professional role involves identifying, documenting, and optimizing technical solutions and user experiences. Through requirement activities and processes aligned with business needs, the analyst ensures solutions are well-defined and meet project goals. This position requires staying current with industry trends and adapting practices accordingly.

Responsibilities

- Foster a user-focused design culture and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team

- Assist in developing and implementing the product vision and road map

- Lead the elicitation, representation, and communication of requirements via various methods such as diagrams, flow charts, presentations, and written documents

- Conduct and sometimes lead functional testing and validation to ensure the end product aligns with initial requirements and maintains high quality

- Advocate for requirement-driven processes and industry best practices

- Handle diverse assignments that require creativity and innovation

- Work independently on routine tasks, consulting with senior team members on more complex issues

Qualifications

Experience:

- At least 4 years of relevant professional experience

- Proficient in the following areas:

- Business Architecture

- Business Analysis

- Enterprise Analysis

- Requirements Elicitation/Analysis

- Solution Assessment/Validation

- Requirements Management

- Expertise in requirements elicitation and applying best practices in requirement-driven processes

- Strong technical and operational understanding of application functionality

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Familiarity with methodologies such as Agile and Scrum

**Work Environment:**

- This position is based in a professional office setting

- Physical requirements may include prolonged periods of sitting and using computer equipment
