Position: Quality Control & Assurance Manager Location: Halethorpe Maryland

About Us: We are a dedicated SQF-certified facility committed to maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality. As industry leaders, we seek a meticulous and proactive individual to join our team as a Quality Control & Assurance Manager.

Key Responsibilities: - Oversee day-to-day quality control operations to ensure compliance with SQF, FDA, and USDA standards. - Maintain comprehensive documentation for internal and external audits. - Conduct mock audits to prepare for official inspections. - Manage sanitation protocols and ensure cleanliness throughout the facility. - Implement and monitor quality assurance programs. - Collaborate with production teams to ensure consistent quality output. - Develop and enforce food safety programs, including HACCP and GMPs. - Monitor and validate CCPs and ensure corrective actions are taken when needed. - Conduct employee training sessions on food safety and compliance. - Investigate and resolve any food safety incidents or customer complaints. - Stay current with regulatory changes and ensure the facility’s compliance with new regulations. - Compile, interpret, and report on quality and compliance data to senior management.

Requirements: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control, specifically within SQF, FDA, and USDA regulated environments. - Proven ability to manage audit documentation and perform hands-on quality assurance tasks. - Expertise in conducting mock audits and managing sanitation processes. - Detailed knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, and other food safety standards. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. - Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
