We have an exciting opportunity for a problem solver, a change agent who is excited about taking Motus to the NEXT level. The

Assistant Controller

will be responsible for daily and monthly accounting tasks.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist Plant Accounting with month-end and weekly close tasks
Reporting monthly results to Corporate.
Desirable experience working with SOX or any other compliance system.
Annual and Midyear budgeting process
Weekly tracking to budget and forecast
AR tracking and follow up
AP tracking and follow up
Prepare weekly and monthly banks reconciliation
Monthly Subledger reconciliation vs GL
Prepare monthly report data for corporate and the management team
Prepare Balance Sheet reconciliations
Perform global intercompany accounting and reconciliation
Assist in special projects as needed
Fixed Assets reconciliation
Tracking the budget of Capital Expense
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
3-5 years of applicable experience a plus
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong organization and time management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
Experience with PLEX, SAP, Oracle, or any ERP.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team and meet deadlines
Capable of taking on new, challenging tasks with limited guidance
Strong problem-solving skills
Highly flexible
Ability to work and take direction from Team Members at all levels of the organization.
