A Westside tech startup is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team In this role, the Senior Accountant will be responsible for month-end close, audit requests, fixed assets, revenue, financial statements, and will (now or in the future) oversee AP. To be successful in this role, the Senior Accountant will need to be detail-oriented, a problem solver, and have great communication skills. Are you this person, or do you know someone like this? What do you need for this Senior Accountant role?
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
  • 4-7 years of public and/or private accounting experience
  • CPA or very close to it
  • Advanced Excel
What will you do in this Senior Accountant role?
  • Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
  • Balance sheet account and P&L statement preparation
  • Conduct flux analysis and present its related package to senior leaders
  • Assist with the annual audit
  • Oversee the work of AP staff
  • Document accounting processes and policies
  • Assist ad hoc projects, reporting, special projects, and system upgrades as needed
