ARSIEM is looking for a Junior Java Developer. This position will support one of our government clients in Ft. Meade, MD.

Responsibilities

+ Provide development, test, integration, documentation, and deployment support for analytics as determined by the customer.

+ Utilize sound software development practices to include designing, using, and creating reusable software solutions, using designated code configuration management, and performing complete unit and integration testing.

+ Assist with writing articles to describe analytic details, data, and classifications, as well as How To" articles for developed tradecraft.

+ Collaborate with other development and sustainment efforts.

+ Support analytic compliance reviews.

Minimum Qualifications

+ A Master's degree plus 0-years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree plus 2-years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree plus 4-years of relevant experience or high school diploma/GED plus 6 years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that are related to the position

+ Computer Science (CS) degree or related field

+ TS/SCI clearance with polygraph

+ Experience with Java

+ Experience with Hadoop MapReduce

+ Experience with Git/GitLab

+ Development in a Linux environment

+ Comfortable working with a team and stakeholders to determine requirements

Preferred Qualifications

+ Understanding of AGILE methodologies

+ GHOSTMACHINE analytic development

+ Experience with Query Time Analytics

+ Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence

Clearance Requirement: This position requires an active TS/SCI with a polygraph. You must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Candidate Referral: Do you know someone who would be GREAT at this role? If you do, ARSIEM has a way for you to earn a bonus through our referral program for persons presenting NEW (not in our resume database) candidates who are successfully placed on one of our projects. The bonus for this position is $10,000, and the referrer is eligible to receive the sum for any applicant we can place within 12 months of referral. The bonus is paid after the referred employee reaches six months of employment.
