As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a residential location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols. What You'll Do: Monitor and control access to the residential community, verifying credentials of residents, guests, and service personnel in accordance with site-specific procedures. Provide customer service by greeting residents and visitors, answering questions, and assisting with directions or information as needed. Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies for the residential location. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as required. Conduct regular and random patrols of the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activities. Document and report any irregularities, incidents, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols. Assist with emergency response activities, following established guidelines and instructions from management or emergency personnel. Minimum Requirements: Access control or badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
